Meaning: Happiness, Joy, Longevity, Death, Royalty, Perfection, Autumn

The Chrysanthemum is associated with royalty, namely the Emporer, who sits on what the Japanese call the Chrysanthemum Throne. It represents perfection.

Due to the fact that it blooms in autumn it is also a symbolic representation of transitioning from life to death.
