Kamigashi-hime

Kamigashi-hime lived during the Edo period. When attacked by bandits she turns them in spiders and then slays them.

The Spider is also important because during the day the spider stands as a symbol for a guest during the day but at night it can mean that robbers are expected. Kamigashi slaying the spider explains this idea.

She was a magician and heroine during the reign of emperor Keiko and is known as being a brave princess and warrior who defended the Emperor.
