The Shinto goddess of Fuji-Yama (Mt. Fuji) Sengen Sama or Konohanasakuya-hime. She is the princess who makes the cherry tree blossom and lives in a cloud in the crater of the volcano. She gave birth to the ancestors of the Emperor.

She is considered the blossom-princess and is the daughter of the mountain god Ohoyamatsumi. She is the goddess of Mt. Fuji and all volcanoes.

She is depicted as a young woman all in white to whom camellias are sacred. She presides over a healing stream on the south side of Fujiyama.

She is the goddess of growth and maturity. Her perspective from high on the mountain gives her a unique perspective on a person's path in life. When you need to see yourself more clearly or inspire development in your spirit call on her for aid. Governing the cherry blossoms she also represents the beauty and fragility of life.
